To manage my VS card collection (and to help me build decks more easily), I found this program. But finding all the files you need to run it has been a serious pain in the ass, so I put them here, where they should be safe and downloadable for years to come.

To get this working, you will need to download the following files:

• the base MWS program (~10MB)
• the base files, including the VS theme (27MB)
• the Marvel (46MB) and/or DC (36MB) cards

If you’ve got a good connection, you can download the base files, Marvel & DC sets in one big lump (117 MB)

EDIT: Here’s Jalavier’s DWF file–you just need to drop this in the “Custom Sets” folder and you should be good. I’ll see if I can’t get it stuck into the big file within a week…

Once you have downloaded those files, then you will do the following:

1. Install MWS
2. Unzip the mws_base_files.zip file into the MWS folder. A message will pop up saying that a folder named “Custom Sets” already exists. Click”Yes” in answer to this message. Then you’ll see another warning that a folder named “Themes” already exists. Click “Yes” on this one too. If you don’t see these messages, then you have unzipped the mws_base_files.zip file in the wrong place–try again.
3. Unzip the Marvel and/or DC sets into the “Custom Sets” folder.

If you downloaded the big lump file, then it’s even easier:

1. Install MWS
2. Unzip the mws_complete.zip file into the MWS folder. You should see a bunch of “Do you want to overwrite” messages–just keep clicking “Yes to All”. What you are doing here is copying my (unregistered) MWS directory over your freshly installed one.

Now you should be all set up–just launch the program and use it. You’ll still need to register it, of course, but that’s the easy part.
